The debts you owe humanity, the debts you owe the world you live in, and your duty to make the world a better place.

Our country is a great country, blessed with natural and human resources. Our leaders owe us. They owe us many things: employment, security, power, good roads, sound education and lots more. But we also in turn owe humanity a lot.

The children on the streets suffering from kwashiorkor, I owe them, you owe them.

The orphans with no one to turn to for succor, I owe them, you owe them.

The physically challenged ones begging alms day in, day out, I owe them, you owe them.

The youths roaming the streets with no jobs, I owe them, you owe them.

The families of the soldiers who died fighting our war, I owe them, you owe them.

The under-privileged and the dis-privileged, I owe them, You Owe them, We owe them!!!

When will we start paying the debts we owe???

In the end, according to John Maxwell, people are persuaded not by what we say, but by what they understand.
